Sporting CP, the Portuguese club where Cristiano Ronaldo had started his football career is in talks to rename their stadium CR7 in his honor.
The stadium which is called Jose Alvalade will now be called CR7 Stadium or CR7 Alvalade if talks comes to a final agreement.
President of the club Frederico Varandas is reported to have held talks with members of the board who are said to have agreed concerning the plan which will see the club attract huge sponsors due to the global brand which CR7 is.
